Arbroath vs Motherwell – Scottish Cup Hospitality
We will take on Motherwell at Gayfield in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup on the weekend of Saturday 21st January.
We last met Motherwell in the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup in 2000 when the game went to a replay.
The first match at Gayfield was abandoned due to the famous Gayfield wind. The rearranged match had Don Goodman open the scoring but Lichtie veteran Tommy Bryce forced a replay.
Motherwell overcame the Lichties in the replay with Lee McCulloch and Don Goodman on the scoresheet for the Steelmen.
