Arbroath vs Greenock Morton – Match Preview
cinch Scottish Championship – Game 36 – Season 2021/2022
Friday 29th April 2022, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 7.45pm kick off
We welcome Dougie Imrie’s Greenock Morton to Gayfield this evening. With last weekend’s results confirming 1st and 2nd place, Greenock Morton are currently in 7th place on 40 points and with a win could overtake 6th Hamilton Academical depending on their result who sit on 42 points.
With one eye on the play-offs Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell may look towards resting some of his first team players with goalkeeper Derek Gaston set to miss out after suffering a knock in the closing moments of last Friday’s match.
After the full time whistle has blown, the Arbroath FC Players will return to the dressing room before coming back out onto the pitch to do a lap of appreciation. Whilst the season isn’t over with and there is still so much to play for it is a chance for the players to recognise your amazing and loyal support this season, and a chance for supporters to thank the players for this outstanding season.
Supporters will get the chance to pose for selfies and autographs with their Lichtie heroes.
We do hope you can stay behind and cheer on the boys!
We look forward to welcoming another large crowd and see Gayfield rocking!
C’mon the Lichties!
