Arbroath vs Dunfermline Athletic – Match Preview
cinch Scottish Championship – Game 12 – Season 2021/2022
Saturday 30th October, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 3.00pm kick off
We welcome Peter Grant’s Dunfermline Athletic to Gayfield tomorrow for our 6th home match of the new season.
The Pars are always a tough side to play and we know they will be right up for this game.
A last minute goal on Tuesday denied Dunfermline Athletic a win against rivals Raith Rovers and we know they will be looking to make amends tomorrow.
Dunfermline Athletic should have a full squad to choose from apart from Graham Dorrans who is set to miss out and have added Dundee United defender Mark Connolly since our last encounter on loan, whilst former United defender Paul Watson has left the club.
Arbroath will be looking to add to Tuesday’s win against Inverness Caledonian Thistle and it is hoped Jason Thomson will have recovered from his neck injury which kept him out of Tuesday’s match. Nicky Low is still recovering and misses out tomorrow.
Despite the rain and wind, the Gayfield pitch as always drains well and we all look set for tomorrow’s match.
It will be another extremely tough match but we hope you can get right behind the team from the very start.
C’mon the Lichties!
