Arbroath vs Dundee – Match Preview
Ladbrokes Championship – Game 16 – Season 2019 / 2020
Saturday 7th December 2019, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 3.00pm kick off
Arbroath return to action tomorrow following last Saturday’s postponement as we welcome James McPake’s Dundee to Gayfield.
Dundee suffered a 93rd minute heartbreak last Saturday when Steven Dobbie scored a winner just 60 seconds after Danny Johnson thought he had rescued a point with a 92nd minute leveller.
Last week Dundee were without first team regulars Jordan Marshall, Josh Meekings, Paul McGowan, and Andrew Nelson for the visit of Queen of the South whilst Jamie Ness had to be substituted at the end of the first half due to a calf injury. Whilst Colin Hamilton’s brother, Jack Hamilton returned in goal with emergency loan signing keeper Conor Hazard returned to Celtic.
The Lichties will hope that a week off will have allow Jason Thomson more time to recover from his injury with Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell hopefully having a full squad of players to chose from.
It will be another extremely game for the Lichties, but we hope to have your support behind us from kick off.

Disabled Access;
Unfortunately we are only available to offer 3 positions in the Home end (Harbour side) for the Arbroath vs Dundee match for wheelchair users and their assistants.
Currently this is on a first come, first served basis but with season ticket holders having priority.
We now only have one space remaining and wanted to give everyone time to purchase their ticket to avoid disappointment.
The main walkway around the terracing is always open to wheelchair users, but we only have the two dedicated spaces on either side of the main stand which give prime viewing.
If you do have any questions, please get in touch.
Our match day stewards are always on hand to give assistance either into the ground, or to the accessible areas.
Unfortunately due to Gayfield’s location we don’t own any parking spaces around the ground, but there is plenty of spaces on either side of the ground to park which is all completely free.
If the distance from the main gate to the accessible area is too far, then we are happy to accommodate a vehicle into the ground for a close drop off. In this circumstance we would please ask that you contact the club a day or two before hand and arrive a little earlier than normal.
We are a community club and hope to give all visiting and home fans the same experience as they are welcomed into our ground.
Parking;
Unfortunately due to Gayfield’s location we don’t own any parking spaces around the ground, but there is plenty of spaces on either side of the ground to park which is all completely free.
If you are coming from the direction of Dundee, there are many spaces on Queen’s Drive next to Pleasureland, of if you continue past Gayfield there is Inchcape Park which is your first right after Gayfield. It is next to the Sea which offers street and overspill onto the grass.
