Match Day 05 – Ladbrokes League 1 – Season 2017 / 2018

Saturday 9th September 2017, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 3.00pm kick off.

Arbroath welcome Albion Rovers to Gayfield tomorrow as League football returns for our 5th match of the 2017 / 2018 season. The Wee Rovers have two Lichties stalwarts in charge in Manager Brian Kerr and Assistant Manager Stuart Malcolm.

Brian was a star in the midfield before his Lichties career was cut short after an injury sustained against Forfar Athletic in March 2013 and “Malcs” of course was Captain for the Lichties for 3 seasons which of course included winning the League Championship.

Both players will receive a warm welcome on their return to Gayfield.

It has been two weeks since our fantastic win against Ayr United with the Lichties having played two friendlies since to keep up match fitness.

With the Wee Rovers sitting only a point behind the Lichties in the league it is going to be another tough game.
