Arbroath vs Queen of the South – Match Preview
Ladbrokes Championship – Game 04 – Season 2020 / 2021
Saturday 7th November 2020, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 3.00pm kick off
Match Sponsor – McKay’s Boatbuilders
Arbroath return to Gayfield tomorrow for the first of 3 home games over the next 3 weekends.
It’s been a tough start for Arbroath so far, with visitors Queen of the South also still looking for their first points of the new season.
Queen of the South had a large overhaul of their playing squad in the summer with 19 players departing and 14 new players coming including 4 loan players. Of course experienced striker Stephen Dobbie is still the main threat for the Doonhammers and already has 3 goals this season, all from the spot.
The Lichties will be hoping for a repeat of their performance against Heart of Midlothian where they were very unlucky not to take something from the game. Last weekend the weather really played it’s part with Inverness really taking advantage of the second half conditions to score 3 goals after Arbroath had the first half advantage.
It will be an incredibly tough game for the Lichties, but the boys as always will give it their all for you.
C’mon the Lichties!
