Arbroath vs Greenock Morton – Match Preview
Ladbrokes Championship – Game 05 – Season 2020 / 2021
Saturday 21st November 2020, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 3.00pm kick off
Arbroath return to Championship action tomorrow as they welcome David Hopkin’s Greenock Morton to Gayfield.
Morton were the last team Arbroath played before the 2019/2020 season was curtailed with a Sean McGinty 95th minute header cancelling out a 49th minute goal from Craig Wighton.
Morton so far have secured 2 wins in 4 games, with a 3 goal blitz in 5 minutes securing a 3-2 win over 10 man Ayr United on the 31st October, but were punished 5-0 in their last match after going down to 10 men themselves against Raith Rovers.
Arbroath welcome back Miko Virtanen who played 19 minutes in Finland U21’s win over Malta on Tuesday night and with Mark Whatley getting closer to his comeback, Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell should have a full squad at his disposal.
It will be an incredibly tough game for the Lichties, but the boys as always will give it their all for you.
C’mon the Lichties!
