Arbroath vs Falkirk – Match Postponed
Unfortunately we are disappointed to announce that today’s match has been postponed due to a frozen pitch following a 10.30am pitch inspection.
Despite the fantastic efforts of our ground staff and the covers being down all week, the extremely low temperature last night have sadly defeated us.
On Friday afternoon we tested the pitch in several locations and the pitch was in perfect condition and we were confident today’s match was going to go ahead, however last night’s freezing temperature of -5°C was the lowest recorded at Gayfield for a long time and has undone all the hard work by our ground staff.
Everyone who had purchased today’s pay-per-view will be automatically refunded.
We are bitterly disappointed after all the hard work that has went on this week, and can only apologise.
