Arbroath vs Dunfermline Athletic – Match Preview
SPFL Trust Trophy – 4th Round – Season 2022/2023
Friday 9th December 2022, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 7.45pm kick off
Arbroath welcome James McPake’s Dunfermline Athletic to Gayfield tonight in the 4th Round of the SPFL Trophy Trust. The last time the two sides met was at Gayfield in March when a 9th minute David Gold secured all 3 points.
There are some very familiar friends in the Dunfermline Athletic side with Chris Hamilton and Craig Wighton and the Pars are having an excellent season and beat Celtic B to get through into the 4th round.
Arbroath look likely to be without Dale Hilson who injured his ribs after a heavy fall at Partick Thistle, but Scott Stewart will hopefully return soon.
It will be a VERY cold evening, so wrap up warm and we shall see you at Gayfield this evening!
C’mon the Lichties!
