Arbroath FC welcome two new Directors to the Board

Two new directors
Arbroath Football Club are delighted to announce that Douglas Bain and Jonathan Booth have joined the club as Directors.
Both men both bring a wealth of experience in managing businesses and will complement the existing Board of Directors allowing the club to develop on its current success and push forward into the future.
Douglas Bain
Douglas is currently the operations Manager in the North region for Agrii who are the leading provider of agronomy services, technology and strategic advice. On top of the Agrii role, Douglas is heavily involved with two family businesses – agricultural storage and logistics.
He has over 30 years’ experience in the family business, and for the last 25 years he has been a Director along with his father Neil and wife Gillian.
Douglas already has strong links to Gayfield having first attended as a 5-year-old, having been taken there by his father. Not only is Douglas a Lichtie, but is a valued sponsor of the club and has been an Executive club member for a number of years.
Jonathan Booth
Jonathan is from Arbroath and is married to Kerry-Lynn and they have a son Cody.
Jonathan brings an extensive business experience and knowledge and is a Director of quality Ladies & Menswear shop, Millar’s of Broughty Ferry. He is also a Director of the St Thomas Bar and a business advisor for a number of other local businesses.
In addition to his business experience, Jonathan also brings proven fundraising experience having been a past Chairman of Arbroath Round Table raising funds for local causes. Jonathan was a member of the Arbroath Relay for Life committee during the highly successful 2014 Relay that raised an incredible sum of £155,000.
We would like to give both men a very warm welcome to Gayfield and we are all looking forward to the forthcoming season and we are confident that the club will be successful both on and off the park.
