Congratulations to Michael McKenna who was voted by the Arbroath FC Supporters as your Player of the Year!
Michael takes home the award, which has recently been won by Ricky Little and Thomas O’Brien.
Michael recently signed a new contract extension which keeps him at Gayfield to at least June 2024.
Dick signed Michael from Berwick Rangers in January 2018 and having lifted the League One Trophy with the Lichties, Michael’s success has just grown and this season in particular Michael has taken his game to a different level.
With 14 goals in the Scottish Championship, countless assists and the same athleticism and desire to win shown since his debut for Arbroath, Michael has this season been named in the Scottish Championship PFA Team of the Year and alongside Thomas O’Brien is one of 4 nominees vying to be named Scottish Championship PFA Player of the Year.
A truly remarkable season, which isn’t over yet!
Michael’s passion and desire has made him favourite to so many of our supporters and we don’t know what Michael eats for breakfast but there aren’t many players in Scotland can match the energy Michael shows week in and week out.
