Good New Story about Football Fans – We received a message on Sunday from an old cricket buddie of AUCC’s Gary Burnett, a guy called Jon Taylor who runs the bar at Stirling Cricket Club. They open their bar when Stirling Albion are at home as the cricket ground is beside Forthbank. He said that a lot of Arbroath supporters were in the club for a drink before the game and were a pleasure to deal with. A side of football the media totally ignore and it happens the length and breadth of the country but it would appear only bad news stories make the papers. Well done the Lichties fans who visited the cricket club and followed the team on Saturday. You are a credit to the club.
