Arbroath 3 – 2 Hibernian
Arbroath claimed their second win of the pre-season with a 3-2 win over Hibernian this evening at Gayfield.
Derek Gaston made a great debut saving a Doidge penalty kick in the 19th minute before Steven Doris made it 1-0 to Arbroath with another composed strike in the 32nd minute.
Steven Doris made it 2-0 after 48 minutes after the young Hibernian keeper tried to control the ball with his head.
Scott Allan made it 2-1 in the 58th minute with a brilliant strike from a short corner.
Greig Spence scored his second Arbroath goal in the 87th minute after he robbed the Hibernian keeper near the corner flag before calmly slotting home.
With one minute remaining a trialist striker Ryan Moon for Hibernian scored from close range from a corner kick.
It is only pre-season but it was another good performance from the Lichties
