We were delighted that Former Red Lichtie favourite Kevin Tindal was able to bring back the vast majority of the 1997/98 squad back together to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of winning promotion.
We secured promotion on the very last day of the season at Gayfield against Queen Park. A penalty by Craig Cooper secured a draw against the Spiders meaning we pipped Ross County for second place behind League Winners Alloa Athletic
It was such a dramatic season after we had finished the worst team in Scotland only 12 months earlier finishing at the bottom of Division 3.
The former players and management team took the main table in hospitality and took time to speak to all the supporters and sign everything from Hot Water Bottles to matchday programmes from 1997.
It was great to see them all again together back at Gayfield!
