Arbroath 1 – 4 Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Arbroath suffered defeat at the hands of Inverness Caledonian Thistle this afternoon.
Brad McKay opened the scoring slightly against the run of the play in the 9th minute but Yasin Ben El-Mhanni pulled Arbroath level in the 26th minute.
As it looked like the goal was heading to half time all level, Inverness grabbed a goal as Jay Henderson netted. Arbroath were just able to kick off before the half time whistle was blown.
Daniel Mackay made it 3 for the visitors in the 65th minute before Lewis Nicolson grabbed a 4th in the 87th minute.
Arbroath had a good first half but couldn’t penetrate the Inverness defence in the second half with a El-Mhanni curling shot the closest the Lichties came.
Both Hamilton Accies and Cove Rangers suffered defeat so things are still as they were before kick off.
