A 90th minute goal by former Lichtie Blair Yule cancelled out Michael McKenna’s 5th minute header as Arbroath recorded a 1-1 draw for the second week in a row.
Arbroath will have felt unfortunate not to have had a first half penalty after David Gold was hit in the head by a high challenge, but Cove definitely threatened more in the second half and had a. few good chances but Derek Gaston and the Arbroath defence had stood strong until Yule’s 15 yard angled strike found the far corner of the net.
