Arbroath 0 – 2 Forfar Athletic
The Lichties fell to only their 2nd defeat in 22 games today as they failed to score for only the 2nd time this season.
A poor first half performance was lamented by Manager Dick Campbell but they still made Forfar keeper Marc McCallum pull of some stunning saves.
A headed goal by Connor Coupe after 14 minutes gave Forfar the first half lead.
The second half it was all Arbroath but again McCallum was in tremendous form and his save from David Gold world class.
A break by Forfar allowed substitute Brad Spencer to score the second goal before he was sent off just minutes later for a bad challenge.
A disappointing result but with Brechin City defeating Raith Rovers we still consolidate our 13 point lead.
A defeat is a sore one for us all but we stick together and focus on our next match in a fortnight.
