Alloa Athletic vs Arbroath – Match Preview

Ladbrokes Championship – Game 16 – Season 2020 / 2021

Saturday 13th February 2021, Indodrill Stadium, Alloa , 3.00pm kick off

Arbroath travel down to Alloa tomorrow to take on Peter Grant’s Alloa Athletic.

As things stand the game is still on with the Indodrill pitch having been cleared of snow on Thursday afternoon.

Alloa Athletic have added goalkeeper Jordan Wright on loan from Nottingham Forest and striker Innes Cameron on loan from Kilmarnock since our last meeting.

The Wasps will be full of confidence after coming back from a goal down to defeat Queen of the South last weekend. It was a win which pulled Alloa Athletic back into the pack, with only 6 points separating Ayr United in 5th on 17 points to Alloa on 11 points in 10th, with 6 sides all trying to avoid the automatic drop.

The Indodrill has been a tough place for Arbroath in recent years with our last win back on the 24th August 2019 thanks to an early Bobby Linn strike and tomorrow’s match will be another tough match.

Arbroath will be without Gavin Swankie who has suffered a broken bone in his foot, and Jake Davidson is a doubt but Colin Hamilton will return to face his old side as Arbroath looking to continue their recent fine run of form.

Every game is tough in the Championship but the players are all fired up and raring to go!

KNOWN ISSUES

Desynchronised audio – All teams using Univtec (via Pixellot) for their delivery method have had intermittent issues with the audio becoming desynchronised from the video. However, we use a different delivery method which has at least reduced the incidence of this bug.

Pixellot only stream – Our match feed includes at least two camera angles, commentary and replays but a bug has been documented where only the feed from the Pixellot camera is seen on the video player. If you experience this bug, refresh your browser. If you still don’t get the commentary and replays, refresh your cache and/or change browser.
