All that way for the Lichties….that’s devotion for you!
Grant Mowatt, who currently lives in Perth Australia decided at the last minute he would jump on a plane and make it back to Scotland in time to see his beloved Lichties players Forfar Athletic.
Having not told his family back home in Scotland and also having to take 3 weeks off work (which Grant will be unpaid for) Grant walked into a pub where his father, Jim Mowatt was having a beer with Sye Webster and surprised his dad!
Although his dad would have been more shocked if Sye had bought a round!
Grant also took in the Montrose game and will be traveling to Brechin to see the Lichties before having to fly back to Perth on Monday morning so he is absolutely desperate for a good result!
