A Toast to the Champions!
Arbroath FC were kindly donated this very limited bottle of Arbikie Highland Rye Single Grain Scotch Whisky by John Stirling, one of the founding brothers of Arbikie Distillery
John presented it to the club at Christmas time with the instructions “Not to be open until we had won the league!”
Arbroath Chairman Mike Caird is pictured with Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell and the bottle of Arbikie Highland Rye Single Grain Scotch Whisky.
John, Iain and David Stirling launched Arbikie Highland Estate in 2014 and are very good friends and sponsors of Arbroath FC.
The Rye Whisky is the first bottle to be produced in Scotland in over 100 years.
A limited run of 355 bottles of the very limited 998 bottles available globally, which were aged for two years were sold to raise funds for the Euan MacDonald Foundation for Motor Neurone Disease.
It was to honour the brother’s father, Alex Stirling who battled motor neurone disease and it was the perfect opportunity to support the foundation who research the disease.
We are very grateful for the support and friendship of John Stirling and Arbikie Highland Estate!
