Everyone at Arbroath FC would like to thank Jack Hamilton and his parent Club Livingston for Jack’s spell at Gayfield which has now come to an end.
Last season Jack arrived on loan at Gayfield from Livingston and with no crowds in attendance scored 8 goals in 14 games to help Arbroath stay in the Championship.
A year later and Jack arrived back at Gayfield, and we knew that goals would soon follow! Jack is Mr Goals and he wasted no time scoring against Raith Rovers before just a week later netting his first senior hat-trick in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup against Darvel.
Goals followed again including the winner against Kilmarnock, then against Ayr, Raith, Hamilton Accies and 2 against Queen of the South with one of those surely his best ever goal.
Jack made 2 Scottish Cup Starts including a hat-trick, then 7 Championship Goals in 14 Starts with another 2 appearances from the bench, and 2 starts in the Premiership Play offs, giving Jack a total of 10 goals in 18 starts and 2 substitute appearances giving him a total of 18 goals in 34 games for Arbroath!
A very talented young footballer and gentleman and a true natural instinct we know Jack still has the footballing world at his feet and he will be welcome back at Gayfield anytime.
