Former Players – Guests at Hospitality

One of the highlights of the day was welcoming back two Arbroath greats. John Fletcher, who signed in 1971 and went on to make 269 appearances, scoring 52 goals, and Derek Rylance, who joined in 1972 and racked up 347 appearances with 12 goals, returned to Gayfield as our guests.

They were joined by David Durno, a former player who signed in 1979 and is now a Trustee of the Arbroath FC Community Trust, and were introduced to guests by Scott Strachan, former Arbroath FC TV presenter. John and Derek visited each of the lounges, met with guests, and took part in a lively Q&A session that brought back some great memories.
