Matchday hospitality Vs Aidrieonians 30/8/25

A fantastic afternoon of hospitality at Gayfield saw plenty of winners, celebrations, and special presentations as Arbroath FC welcomed Airdrieonians. Guests in both the Caird Suite and MKM Lounge enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by our Matchday caterers Ashley and team from Tutties Neuk.

Hosted by CEO and Director Paul Reid, the ever-popular game saw Peter Green scoop victory and receive a bar voucher from Arbroath FC’s Striker Nikolay Todorov.
Goal/Save
Arbroath FC Volunteers and Community Trust Trustees Susan Spink and Jill Rennie hosted the fun matchday game. Jake from table 4 was the lucky winner and is pictured receiving his bar voucher prize from Nikolay Todorov.
Correct Score
Gavin Stewarts table came out on top, with Gavin originally from Arbroath and now based in Aviemore, was delighted to receive a St Thomas Bar voucher presented by Nikolay Todorov.
Time of the First Goal
Table 1 were the lucky winners, with Kevin Young collecting the St Thomas Bar voucher from Nikolay Todorov on behalf of his group.
Caird Suite Man of the Match
Striker Nikolay Todorov took home the award, presented by former player Craig Farnan, who signed for the club back in May 1988, Craig made 195 appearances for Arbroath and scored six goals. Nikolay received a bottle of Kald by Redcastle & Arbroath Smokies, kindly donated by Gordon Spink.

Sponsored by Knauf Solutions, the Man of the Match award went to Arbroath FC Midfielder Ryan Flynn. He received his prize of a bottle of Kald by Redcastle & Arbroath Smokies, donated by Gordon Spink, from new club Director Jon Bruce.
Birthday Presentation
Arbroath FC Defender Aaron Muirhead celebrated his 35th birthday, marked with the traditional birthday pie, presented by Arbroath FC Community Trust Trustee Jill Rennie.
Match sponsor Knauf & Encon’s Bryan Mawer presents their Man of the match Ryan Flynn with his awards.
Double Winner
MKM guest Ronnie Merchant enjoyed a day to remember, winning both the Correct Score and Time of the First Goal competitions. Club Director Jon Bruce presented his prizes.
Former Players – Guests at Hospitality
Arbroath FC were delighted to welcome back former player and current Arbroath FC Community Trust Trustee, Dave Durno, who was joined by two fellow former Red Lichties, Tommy Yule, who signed for Arbroath 1973 and Billy Wells, who signed for the club back in 1974. Dave himself signed for Arbroath back in 1979. The trio visited both the MKM Lounge and the Caird Suite, where they met with hospitality guests and took part in a lively Q&A session.
