Defeat on penalties in their rearranged Scottish Cup tie at Stranraer looked to have denied Queen’s Park the chance to beat Rangers for the second consecutive year
However, with their League Two opponents ruled to have used an ineligible player, the Spiders will get that chance when they visit Ibrox next Saturday.

Arbroath made it two wins from two against Queen’s Park back in October, with a crushing victory at Gayfield.
Gavin Reilly’s early goal set the Lichties on their way, with Taylor Steven and Ryan Dow also scoring to make it 3-0 at the break.
Timam Scott pulled one back for the Spiders with just over ten minutes remaining, but Findlay Marshall restored the three goal lead late on to secure a comfortable victory.
Seb Drozd
With Josh Fowler set to join St Johnstone at the time of writing, Drozd will be a player the Spiders will look to for goals in the second half of the season.
The English forward has four goals and five assists this season, with two of each of those coming his last three league games.
As well as notching an assist for Fowler’s goal against Raith in midweek, Drozd also hit the headlines last season with the winner in a famous victory at Ibrox.
Unsurprisingly, Tuesday night’s scheduled clash with Airdrie in the KDM Evolution Trophy was postponed due to the weather, meaning Arbroath should be fresh heading to Glasgow.
Last Friday saw a 1-1 draw with Morton in a game that could quite easily have been called off too, extending Arbroath’s run to just one defeat in nine Championship matches.
