After a bright start to the season, winning three of their opening five games, Rovers have won just two of the next ten, albeit still sit just two points outside the playoffs, and can move to within a point of Arbroath with victory on Saturday

An even opening period in which Arbroath went closest through a Harry Cochrane effort that came off the crossbar gave the visitors hope of a positive result.
However, Paul Hanlon’s goal two minutes after the restart sent Raith on their way with Richard Chin and Jack Hamilton adding further strikes to earn a 3-0 win for the hosts

Dylan Easton has been the standout for Rovers this season, finding the net on 10 occasions as well as proving to be a constant menace for opposing defenders.
Five of those strikes did come in the League Cup group stages, including a hat-trick against Inverness, before scoring a further four in the opening five games of the league season.
He’s netted just once since then, in a 2-0 win over Partick Thistle, but his two assists against the Lichties in September showed him at his creative best and he is sure to be one for the Arbroath defence to keep an eye on.
After two weeks on the road it’s back to Gayfield, where Arbroath will hoping to build on their brilliant home record, with only St Johnstone and Partick Thistle boasting a better return at home.
A defeat at Cappielow a fortnight ago was followed by a well earned point against Ayr United last weekend, although the Lichties will feel they should have taken all three, with a clear foul on Tam O’Brien ignored in the buildup to the Honest Men’s equaliser.
Ross County, St Johnstone and Queen’s Park have all been put to the sword in the last three games in Angus and Arbroath will be looking to add Raith Rovers to that list on Saturday.
