Since losing 5-1 at McDiarmid Park on the opening day of the season, Thistle have lost just once in the league (2-0 vs Raith Rovers in October) and now sit behind St Johnstone only on goal difference.

Arbroath headed to Maryhill off the back of a tough few weeks and would have been forgiven for fearing the worst when Logan Chalmers curled the Jags in front after only five minutes.
The Lichties rallied though and were rewarded for their efforts when Findlay Marshall reacted first to a loose ball to slam home an equaliser just past the hour mark.

Leading the way for Thistle in terms of goals and assists, Logan Chalmers appears to have finally found his home after a series of loan spells.
The former Dundee United winger spent time on loan at Ayr United twice as well as Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Tranmere Rovers while at Tannadice, but it’s at Firhill where he’s really flourished, being involved in 30 goals in his 64 games.
That opener against Arbroath in October was one of nine this campaign, five more than the next highest player with his tricky feet and impressive left foot something to be wary of at the weekend.
It’s now five without defeat for Arbroath since last month’s loss at Cappielow, including progression in both the Scottish Cup and KDM Evolution Trophy.
Tuesday’s comeback win in farcical conditions against Kelty Hearts brought to an end a run of four consecutive matches against Fife opposition, with only Raith Rovers not tasting defeat in that run.
Partick Thistle are an opponent in form but with the Lichties making Gayfield one of the toughest venues to visit in the Championship and taking confidence from the point in the last meeting, Saturday is sure to be entertaining.
