Deri Corfe
Arbroath FC are delighted to announce the signing of 24-year-old winger Deri Corfe on a contract until June 2023.
Deri played as a trialist in our friendly against AFC Fylde and has been training with the Club since, playing in a few behind door friendly matches and travelled with the squad to Ayr last weekend.
Deri, who was born in Chester, came through the youth ranks at Manchester City, before moving Stateside to play for the University of Rio Grande, before transferring to Wright State University two years later.
Playing for The Ocean City Nor’esters, where he was named USL League Two MVP (Most. Valuable Player) for 2019 after scoring 14 goals, with 3 assists in 12 games.
Deri was then in the 2020 MLS draft where was was signed by the Red Bulls II side which played in the USL Championship.
In 2021 Deri signed for FC Tuscon where in his first season he made 22 starts scoring 8 goals including a play-off winning goal.
We are excited to see Deri in action and would like our supporters to give him a very warm welcome to Gayfield.
