The scoreline was 1-1 at half time with Ayr United taking the lead in the 16th minute after Aaron Drinan connected to a brilliant pass from Connor Malley.
The Lichties hit back 12 minutes later when Colin Hamilton scored directly from a corner kick in the 28th minute.
All supporters were given a ticket as they entered the ground, please keep a hold of this as it will give you entry to the rescheduled match.
